Pachuca Foot Ball Team is a football club based in Mexico. They are one of the most successful teams in the Mexican football league. And have been so for almost two decades.
The team was founded in 1946 as Pachuca Fútbol Club (Pachuca Football Club). They are named after a local village called Pachuca. In the early years, their nickname was “Los Panchos” (the Panchos). Because they played with lots of 5-man lines on their defense.
The team won three consecutive league titles from 1968 to 1970. They suffered a major decline in fortune and only managed to win two league titles between 2000 and 2012.
They are currently playing at the top level of Mexican football since 2016. When they qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League group stage. By finishing second in Liga MX Apertura 2016–17 with 32 points from 24 matches. They finished first on total over Monterrey C.F with 3–1.

The team won the first leg 2–0 and went on to win 5-1 in the total. They then beat Panama 4–2 in a home match, to advance to face Argentina in the quarterfinals. In their first game, they lost 2-1 at Estadio Azteca. And played their second match against Croatia with a score of 2-1 before going out 4–0 away from home.
